I volunteer in the local community by helping with Malware Virus Removal, File Recovery, Incident Response, and Digital Forensics. When a poor fellow brings me an infected machine I try to find out how the infection started and nine out of ten times it's because they installed some crappy software that ends up ruining the poor fellow's computer.

In this video I give 4 examples on using Google to find the reputation of software applications.
